Animal Rescue & Sanctuary
We care for a wide variety of species, offering rehoming & sanctuary placement.
Long before we became farmers (or had even met each other) we were involved in animal rescue, ate animal free diets, studied animal behavior & had a unique variety of pets (& foster failures). Aaron went on to focus on dog training & now offers private dog training as well as doggy daycare/ boarding on the farm. Megan went from working as a veterinary assistant to an obsession into the food world. While our lives may have taken our focuses elsewhere, our passion for animal rescue will always be part of us. I'm so grateful to be able to announce we are now able to offer temporary placement, rehoming & sanctuary care for those in need. We work with local rescues & sanctuaries across the US to provide placement to difficult to place animals. We accept all animals, on a case by case basis, except for those that require a permit in the state of Indiana. Surrenders are by appointment only & there is a surrender fee.

Some of the animals to join the farm through rescues include a pair of barn cats from Indy Neighborhood Cats & our Sulcata Tortoises from Eclecteri Rescue in Arizona. It wasn't until we decided to take on a long term foster dog, while her owner was in a woman's shelter, that we decided we had accidentally started an animal rescue! To no one's surprise!
